What is our process like?
At Steel Flowers we take care of the entire process of the rose that reaches your hands; from the fact that they are small growing plants to the logistics of transportation in the place you are. That’s why we want to tell you more about our work so you know how a small part of the Ecuadorian paramos comes to your home.
Farming
From the cultivation area we maintain the quality of the roses, as they are constantly monitored by our professional staff.
Part of the work here is to try to maintain nutrition, hydration and preventive care in our crops.
On the other hand, we take care of harvesting the rose at a uniform cutting point, we classify it and send it to Postharvest.
Postharvest
The post-harvest ensures that the rose brought from the crops reaches our clients in optimal conditions, which is why each phase is a quality filter.
- Fumigation (maintains health).
- Classification (by head size and stem length).
- Boncheo (they place the roses in sheets in an orderly manner, following parameters that ensure quality is maintained).
- Packaging (the correct arrangement of the bags ensures that they can withstand various situations during the trip to their final destination).
Shipment
